About Us Born in the early 1980's, Old Orchard Crafts is the dream of visionary, the late Eric Ferguson. Shortly after it opened its doors, Old Orchard Crafts became one of New Brunswick's Gems. Word of mouth traveled quickly and Customers from far and wide would make the journey to the small town of Burton, NB to visit to the craft store. The uniqueness of the gift store's apple orchard setting added to its appeal and brought a sense of relaxation and serenity to it's visitors. After the passing of Old Orchard Crafts founder and subsequent sale of the property, the present owners, Andrew and Lucianne Henry began their search for another distinctive location for the store. While waiting for the perfect place to house the iconique store, Old Orchard Crafts temporary set up shop in Waasis, NB until the ideal venue was found. An 18th century early Fredericton Saltbox is now the new home for Old Orchard Crafts! More than 220 years old, this piece of Fredericton History is the ideal setting for the iconique gift store. This historic home also boasts another interesting piece of History: for you Royal Watchers out there: Prince Charles stopped by for a cup of tea during his 1996 visit to Fredericton.
